Merry Fairy Night

Do you like fairies, crafting, dancing, and treats?  If the answer is "Yes!" join Merry Fairy Jasmine for a night of all three.  Fairy dress is highly recommended.  Jasmine will help children to craft their own fairies and fairy accessories out of natural materials, she will share some fairy treats, and everyone will get to dance to "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" in their fairy best outfits.

Chair Yoga

Maggie Grace from the Yoga Room in Hampstead leads us in a Chair Yoga class, in which we practice strengthening, stretching, and meditative breathing exercises. Please register in advance so we can plan the space.

Halloween Bash!

Join us for some good old-fashioned Halloween fun!

For this program, we will split into small groups and rotate through a variety of party games and spooky fun activities!  Wrap your friends up like a mummy, participate in relay races, play ghostly musical chairs and more!  All participants will leave with a Halloween treat bag full of non-candy treats (Okay, they will still get candy!)

You will need to move around a lot and may get messy, so costumes are NOT recommended.

Harry Potter Club

Calling all Harry Potter fans!  We will be holding a monthly Harry Potter club at the library. Each monthly meeting will include a book discussion, treat from the wizarding world, and a craft from the books.

While we love the Harry Potter movies as much as anyone, these meetings will focus on the books, so while this isn't a traditional book club, please read the book ahead of time (if you've read them before, that's fine...no need to reread unless you want to!)  All Harry Potter books and audiobooks are available on Hoopla and the library has several copies.

International Dot Day Celebration

Celebrate creativity, courage, and collaboration at the library by joining us to celebrate International Dot Day!

We will share Peter H Reynold's book, The Dot and embark on our own creative endavors!  Make your mark! We will be using paint and could get messy, please dress accordingly.

This program is for elementary-aged kids, but older or younger siblings (with grown-up help) are okay.  Sign up is required HERE.
