Tails in Hampstead: All About the Town's Animal Control

Come meet Maura Wentworth and Thomas Wilson-Frascone to learn all about what the Hampstead Animal Control Department does, when you should call them and how they can help you. This event will take place outside the Library (inside if inclement weather.) This event is suitable for adults AND children, and they'll have giveaways for the audience. You might event get to meet a special dog!

Stitched with Love

Stitched with Love charitable quilt sewers meet to create items for groups of people (or animals) in need.  The  group meets at the Library on the third Saturday morning of each month.  Set up starts at 9:30 am, and the meeting ends by 1 pm. This group supports local needs whenever possible. They provide comfort and warmth to others who may be struggling. They have provided items such as quilts, chemo caps, fidget mats, children's loveys, and shelter pet beds, and more.

Spinners & Knitters meeting

This group meets the 2nd Saturday of the month from 10 am to 12 PM.

The group is comprised of mainly knitters and spinners (who create their own yarn on spinning wheels); however, all needleworkers are welcome to join. This is a place to relax and share what you are working on. No instruction is provided, but you can always pick up a tip or two.

The meeting is held upstairs in the large meeting room.
