Hampstead Water Resources Committee Meeting - cancelled
Water Resources Committee Meeting
Stitched with Love charitable quilt sewers meet to create items for groups of people (or animals) in need. The group meets at the Library on the third Saturday morning of each month. Set up starts at 9:30 am, and the meeting ends by 1 pm. This group supports local needs whenever possible. They provide comfort and warmth to others who may be struggling. They have provided items such as quilts, chemo caps, fidget mats, children's loveys, and shelter pet beds, and more.
Third Thursday Book Club discusses The Penderwicks: a Summer Tale of Four Sisters, Two Rabbits, and a Very Interesting Boy by Jeanne Birdsall. Please call or visit the library if you would like to borrow a copy of the book.
This group meets the 2nd Saturday of the month from 10 am to 12 PM.
The group is comprised of mainly knitters and spinners (who create their own yarn on spinning wheels); however, all needleworkers are welcome to join. This is a place to relax and share what you are working on. No instruction is provided, but you can always pick up a tip or two.
The meeting is held upstairs in the large meeting room.
Third Thursday Book Club is reading The Henna Artist by Alka Joshi. Call the library if you would like to reserve a copy. The discussion meeting may take place outside. TBD.
Third Thursday Book Club is reading Washington Black by Esi Edugyan. Please call the Library if you would like to reserve a copy of the book. The discussion meeting may take place outside on the Library property. TBD
