These are some 'apps' that are available in conjunction with our library systems, or with websites we like as readers.

Our web-based library catalog has a mobile app to help you determine if HPL has something you need. Search for Librista, then log in with a username and password that you can set up at the library or in the catalog





Transparent Languages Online has a mobile app. You can download vocabulary lists and practice your listening and learning with pictures, even when offline. Look for 'Transparent Language' in the app store, and log in to the Transparent Language website to get a special mobile access password.




Goodreads.com is a site used by over 25 millions readers to track the books they are reading, organize them into lists, see what friends are reading, and get recommendations for new books. Discover a new author, a new series, or a new reader friend.Some of the Hampstead librarians are on Goodreads. Ask us!




Kindle App is needed for some ebooks available for free from NH Downloadable Books. Often Amazon offers FREE ebooks, as well.







Access the NH Downloadable Books for your library via Overdrive or Libby. Download and enjoy free eBooks and audiobooks from your library with your library card, wherever you go. Use the built-in browser or your browser of choice to find, check-out, and download digital titles and read or listen in the app.
