Tea Program: Farmer's Market Tea

Come sip Wild Berry tea (a blend of raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, and blackcurrants) and listen to Carolyn Grieco of Carolyn's Farm Kitchen in Haverhill, MA discuss her career and give a brief cooking demonstration of her scone recipe!

Carolyn will share her experiences as a Farm Chef and what it means to be cooking and eating 'within the seasons' here in New England.  She will share how she came to start up her small cottage business producing farm-inspired food products, and will offer a cooking demonstration of her signature Buttermilk Fruit Scone Mix highlighting fun seasonal variations!  Delicious samples will be available with tea, and products will be available for purchase.

Tea being served: Wild Berries (raspberry, strawberry, blueberry, and blackcurrants) 

Although it is not required, we greatly appreciate participant contributions of a small dessert, fruit, etc. Please register in advance.

About Carolyn: 

Carolyn Grieco, Carolyn's Farm Kitchen, Haverhill, MA. With over 20 years of culinary experience in multiple areas of the food industry, Carolyn’s passion for local seasonal cooking has shaped her career as a farm chef.  She has worked for several Massachusetts family farms, using their crops to develop signature retail product lines.  She has  taught hands-on educational culinary workshops throughout her career and continues to host a cooking series on Methuen Community TV. Carolyn’s Farm Kitchen products include a line of handmade jams & preserves and Farm Baking Mixes, all distinctly designed to pair with the growing seasons in new England.  Her products are sold at farmer’s markets, local Red Buggy delivery, wholesale, and online.
